The President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, received today a delegation of the Armed Forces of the Italian Republic, led by General Enzo Vecciarelli, Chief of General Staff.
President Pendarovski expressed his appreciation for the ongoing cooperation between the Macedonian and the Italian army. At the meeting, President Pendarovski said he expects the defense cooperation between the two countries to be further intensified with the full membership of North Macedonia in the NATO Alliance.
At the same time, President Pendarovski underlined that it is very important for the members of the Macedonian Army to continue their education and attend trainings for improvement of the techniques in the educational institutions in Italy.
Pointing out that both our country and the Army can offer appropriate opportunities to the Italian troops, President Pendarovski expressed the belief that the cooperation between the two armies will be equally successful, as the political and economic cooperation between North Macedonia and Italy.
