Pursuant to Article 84 line 6, Article 86 paragraph 1 and 2 and the Amendment XIII of the Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia, a decision on appointing president and members of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia was enacted. Members of the Security Council are: the President of the Republic, the President of the Assembly, the President of the Government, ministers in charge of the state institutions working in the areas of security, defense, foreign affairs, and three other members appointed by the President of the Republic. The Security Council reviews matters related to the security and defense of the Republic, and gives proposals to the Assembly and the Government of Republic of Macedonia. President of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia is Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, President of the Republic of Macedonia. Members of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia are: 1.
